Travel is Booked!

While we are still waiting for our Article 5 to be issued as well as the approval to secure our consulate appointment, our agency felt secure enough to have us book our travel. So, we will depart for China on 8/18!  Seems like an eternity away...  We are really excited!  We will travel out of the US via LAX, and have an overnight there each way, so any of my adoption buddies who live in the LA area, let us know and perhaps we can meet somewhere for dinner?

I am grateful to a neighbor of ours who loaned us their lapbook, so that we could have a computer while in China.  This will make it much easier for us to keep you all up-to-date on where we are and what is happening.  Here is a rough itinerary:

Charleston- LAX Thurs. 8/18

LAX-Shenyang, China 8/19-20

Gotcha Day!- Monday 8/22

Finalize adoption- Tuesday 8/23

Receive final documentation- Friday 8/26

Fly to Guangzhou (Southern China) Friday 8/26

Medical screenings- Saturday 8/27

Consulate appointment- T,W,or R? 8/30-9/1

Fly home to LAX- Saturday 9/3

LAX-Charleston Sunday 9/4.

We are so grateful to all the people all over the world who visit this site and follow along, supporting us with your prayers.  As we prepare for travel, we would appreciate your prayers for Colin and Tommy.  Pray that the Lord would prepare both of their hearts for this big change in their lives.  God Bless,
