days to go!
Today we started things off with a rehearsal at church for the annual East Cooper Baptist Church
Christmas Program
"Arrival"
All you locals should come on out tomorrow evening at 7PM to the Gaillard Auditorium in historic Charleston, SC.
This may be my favorite program we've done in the 7 years that we've been participating. Concert if FREE!
Now, who performs a major concert the night before she heads to China? That would be me. I know, nuts.
But, it is great music and one of the highlights of the year for us, so we will enjoy the concert and then head home to finish the last minute packing.
We drafted a letter last night that our agency is going to send to Cameron. I wish that we had the luxury of sending him photos and a care package, but we were asked not to until this week. Now, there is no time. There are so many things that could go wrong that our agency wanted to be especially careful not to get his hopes up until they were sure.
But, now we only wait on
That is "travel approval" for those outside of the adoption community. It is possible that we would get it Monday, but more likely, it will come closer to mid-week. So long as we get it before Friday, we are good to go.
Your emails and comments of support have been so nice. Keep them coming!
We were able to borrow
a laptop for the trip
(Thanks Chelsea!!)
so we will be able to stay
connected while in China.
This time we have even set up Skype,
so if you are inclined to use this tool,
let me know and you can meet Cameron before everyone else!
